AAJHS MUSIC DEPARTMENT

At the Altoona Area Junior High School we offer various forms of co-curricular music education. These courses are offered to every student in the AAJHS, whether or not you own a musical inturment or ever even played one. It takes place during the school hours during one elective period, and after schoool practices are scheduled as needed. These classes are taught by the highley qualified Mr. Yon, Mr. Martin, Mrs. Detwiler, and Mrs. Connell. These educators will teach you to play an instrument or if you already play, they will teach you to play at a level exetremely advanced to what you have achieved previously.
