Welcome!

Hello!  I am excited to be a part of the Altoona Area Junior High teaching faculty. I am a graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.  I earned my Master of Education degree from St. Francis University.  I also earned my Reading Specialist certificate from St. Francis University in 2019.  

My former experiences in education include teaching and instructional coaching at the elementary level.  I have also worked as a certified reading specialist at the elementary level and at AAJHS.  I am fortunate to continue learning as an educator at the junior high level and to be working with seventh grade students in English Language Arts.
