About Mrs. Juart:
This is my 9th year teaching at AAJHS. I grew up in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, home of the famous groundhog. I studied Family and Consumer Sciences at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and have a Masters degree in Reading and Reading Specialist from Gannon University. I love teaching foods because this class prepares my students for being on their own someday. Cooking is something everyone should learn to do because you will need this skill throughout your life time. Additionally, I have had many students become inspired to pursue a carrier in culinary arts.
