8th Grade Science with Miss A.

Hello! My name is Ashley Astle, and I am an 8th Grade Science teacher at AAJHS. I earned my undergraduate degrees in Middle Level Education and Special Education, complete with a minor in American Sign Language. I continued on to The American College of Education to earn my Master's in STEM Leadership degree, which I largely integrate into curriculum.

 

In my classroom, students will use hands-on approaches to understand the basics of atoms, chemical reactions, the age of the Earth, the solar system, the Universe, genetics, and forensics. I am a firm believer in student-led learning, and my hope is to show your child that learning can be fun!
